The Figure Skating Club of Minneapolis has a Board of Directors that consists of nine (9) members.

Three (3) Directors are elected each year at the May Membership Meeting and serve for a period of three (3) years.

A Board of Director must be a Voting Member in good standing. Only one spouse may hold office or be a member of the Board of Directors at any one time.

The Officers of the Club are President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer.

Duties of the President are to take charge of the Club; to preside at all the meetings of the Club and of the Board of Directors. The President has the entire supervision and management of the Club and its facilities subject to the approval of the Board of Directors; the power to suspend any member for violating the by-laws or rules of the Club, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors; the power to call special meetings and Club meetings.

Duties of the Vice-President are to assist the President in the discharge of his or her duties in his or her absence to assume the duties and officiate in his or her stead.

Duties of the Treasurer are to have charge of the funds of the Club and to render a report to the Board of Directors at each regular meeting thereof. All disbursements are signed by both the Treasurer and the President or one of them and another designated officer of member of the Board of Directors.

Duties of the Secretary are to keep the Minutes of the Meetings of the Club and of the Board of Directors and to supervise all reports and documents connected with the business of the Club unless otherwise designated.
